BG-4055 PAG Refrigeration Compressor Lubricants
BG-4055 lubricants are premium Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) refrigeration lubricants that have been specifically designed for use in natural refrigerants such as propane, butane and ammonia. It is an ideal fluid for these refrigerants due to their very low pour point, high viscosity index, excellent solubility, and superior resistance against viscosity dilution.
Strengthes:
1. Specifically designed for use in refrigeration systems requiring PAG lubricants
2. Resists viscosity dilution
3. Very high viscosity index for better lubrication and seal protection at extreme temperatures
4. Reduced hygroscopic tendencies
5. Excellent thermal and oxidative stability leading to longer fluid life and extended oil drain intervals
6. Increased protection against rust, corrosion, carbon, and varnish
7. Excellent film strength and anti wear properties for better protection of compressor parts
8. Non-Toxic, Non-Hazardous
9. Very high flash points and auto-ignition points for added safety
Applications:
-Refrigeration systems operating on natural refrigerants such as Propane (R-290), Butane (R-600), and ammonia (R-717, DX Systems Only)
-Refrigeration compressors operating on HFC and blended gases such as:•
R-124, R-134a, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R-416a, R-417a, R-422a, R-42b, R-427a, R-507, R-508b
-Residential refrigeration and air conditioning systems
-Automotive air conditioning systems
-Commercial refrigeration systems (i.e. freezers and coolers operating in food stores)
-Industrial refrigeration systems (i.e. food processing facilities, laboratories, cold storage units)
